Hazrath Syed Shah Yousufuddin (R.A) (Yousuf Baba) was born in Egypt and Hazrath Syed Shah Shareefuddin (R.A) (Shareef Baba) was born in Kanaan (Palestine). Both met during Hajj and became the disciples of Hazrath Kaleemullah Jahanabadi (R.A) during the Hajj they started living like real brothers. Due to love and affection of their Murshid and in order to complete education under him, they came to India. After completing their education under their peer & Murshid and as per his order they joined in the Army of Aurangzeb Alamgir and came to Hyderabad.
Once due to typhoon and heavy wind all the tents of the army had fallen down but the tent in which both of hazrath's were busy in reading Quran had not fallen and the lamp was still burning. By seeing this, all the people got faith in them. They came and settled in the village Naek name Khan pally (Presently Nampally) at the place of their disciple Shaik Abdul Salam and lived silently. Day and night they used to perform and be busy in Zikr-e-Ilahi (Remembrance of Allah).
On 6th Zilhajja 1121 Hijri equal to 1710 AD, Hazrath Syed Shah Yousufuddin (R.A) expired at that time Hazrath Syed Shah Shareefuddin (R.A) was not present. He came after some time when people informed him about the demise.
He said "One brother goes from this world and the other remains how is it possible? The whole life lived together and now also shall live together". By saying this covered himself with the Bedsheet (chader) and slept beside and he expired.
Buried on 6th Zilhajja at residence i.e., Village Nampally. On the western side, is the grave of Hazrath Syed Shah Yousufuddin Baba (R.A) and on the eastern side, is the grave of Hazrath Syed Shah Shareefuddin Baba (R.A). After a long period the Deevan of the state of Arcot constructed the Dome and house ( Water fountain ). On the western side of the Dome, Mosque is existing which was constructed by the first Sajjada Shaik Abdul Salam in 1132 Hijri.
